I was talking to a friend about this guy I with. We were together for 6 years at the end I found out he was cheating. He put the whole thing on me somehow it was my fault he cheated but I still left.

That whole experience really messed with me for a while. I felt like there was something wrong with me. I felt like I wasn’t good enough and I compared myself to this girl, like what does she have that I don’t. It was crazy the emotional damage that was done to my confidence.

When we get rejected in any way we always feel like “what’s wrong with me or I’m not good enough” after years I found closure in the fact that it wasn’t me it was him. He was weak and didn’t have the skills to communicate an issue out of fear.

I had a real conversation with him and asked him why he said “after years I just wanted to see if I could still get a girl”. My face literally dropped because there it was it was him. It wasn’t me, there was nothing wrong with me.

Don’t take rejection and internalize it you’ll kill yourself doing that fam. More times than not that rejection comes from their fear. You my love are amazing, your deserving, and your special. I believe when God removes people from our lives it’s to make room for better.

Thankful that relationship ended lol because it really did make room for so many more blessings. At the time it happened I cried for weeks. I wish I could have seen the future. Change your perception in life, believe in your greatness and know there is someone special out there for you. Don’t go through life building walls when things happen. ❤️
