Post Surgery Movements ? Finally, almost 4 weeks post-op I can start doing small stretches and movements, which is SO EXCITING! ?? These are designed to get my body moving in different directions, supporting blood flow and mobilising my fascia; all under the guidance of my physio & osteo ✅ I am carefully listening to my body and if I felt any pulling or uncomfortable sensations in my abdomen I would stop ? So here’s what I’m doing: ➡️ Cat Cow (less range than normal) ➡️ Twist throughs ➡️ Hip to overhead extensions ➡️ 2 stage glute bridge (hip tuck, then lift) ➡️ Hip flexor stretch ➡️ Adductor stretch ✅ I am also doing some static stretches too, as my whole body is super tight from being so static for a month ?? I do these once or twice a day depending on how I’m feeling; along with my deep breathing exercises & pelvic floor work!
