Honey, I’m home! 🥳 And it’s BALTIC ❄️😂 Finally, two weeks after this whole ordeal started I’ve landed back in the UK 🇬🇧 And I’ve honestly NEVER felt so happy to be here, sleeping in my own bed last night was BLISS! 🥰 And now? The hard part starts. It is a long old road to recovery and I need to be patient, which will be a huge mental challenge. I may look like I’m doing well, I even received a message this morning saying “are you recovered now?”, but in reality it’s going to take time ⏰ (3 months or so specifically) 😅 Right now I can only walk for 10 minute stints (and that’s a struggle), I can’t put my own socks on, I can’t lift the kettle, I can’t open heavy drawers and I can’t cook for myself👩🏼‍🍳 I need round the clock assistance and luckily lots of lovely friends have reached out to come take care of me! 🤗 I had my first big cry since the surgery today as the magnitude of the whole situation hit home. But to be honest I was expecting it to happen sometime soon and I’m pretty proud I lasted this long without having a meltdown 😂 I can only apologise that my content over the next few weeks and months will shift to be less fitness focused 💪🏼 But I hope you enjoy following my recovery and I’ll be back to my usual self in a little while, stick with me ❤️
