How do I feel about not exercising for a few months? 💪🏼 This is one of my most frequently asked questions, which I totally understand I am a personal trainer and fitness blogger by trade 💦(If you’re wondering why I can’t exercise: I had life threatening surgery and my whole abdomen was sliced open. I need to allow my core to repair itself!) 💁🏼‍♀️ The honest answer? I genuinely don’t mind at all. Ultimately it’s a few months out of my whole life, a life which I hope continues until I’m in my 80s! 👵🏼 In the grand scheme of things it’s not that long 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know that by slowing down now and being gentle with myself I will have a smoother recovery and better long term outcomes. So I’m taking this opportunity to embrace the sloth life 😂👌🏼 Plus, I’m starting physio in a few weeks which means I’ll have little breathing exercises, mobilising movements and daily tasks to focus on.
