Happy French National Day! ?? In the English-speaking world it is the “Bastille Day”, but in France it is “le 14 Juillet” (the 14th of July) or “la Fête nationale” (the National Celebration). Many thanks to President @emmanuelmacron for inviting me to attend the military parade, which @thersaf took part in for the very first time. It was truly a grand spectacle!

After the parade, I visited the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie (City of Sciences and Industry), one of the biggest science museums in Europe. Also caught up with the Singaporean community in France at an early National Day reception at our embassy. Ended the day watching the Fête nationale fireworks light up the iconic Paris skyline from my hotel window. ? – LHL
