Enjoyed the opening performance by Siong Leng Musical Association last night at Singapore Chin Kang Huay Kuan’s (SCKHK) 100th anniversary. The melodious Nanyin, the oldest form of Chinese music originating from the southern Fujian Province, was accompanied by the dance and song of the Sri Warisan Som Said Performing Arts group. It was an enjoyable treat for both ears and eyes!
The SCKHK works with local community partners to care for our seniors, and keep traditional values and culture alive among the young. Since 2008, the SCKHK youth group has been organising activities for young people. These efforts go a long way to bring society closer together.
