Today is World Water Day, reminding us that water is a precious and critical resource for everyone.

Singapore relies heavily on our numerous reservoirs for our water supply. The largest of these is the Marina Barrage. A dedicated team from @pubsingapore keeps the Barrage in good working order 24 hours a day, every day.

Tonight, prominent landmarks near the Barrage (including The Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, the Esplanade, and the Sports Hub) will be lit up in blue to mark World Water Day. Do support this by using water only when you need to, and cherishing the clean water that is readily available in Singapore. – LHL (Photo by me)
