Whenever I travel, I try to meet overseas Singaporeans to see how they’re doing, and renew ties with them. These events are always a good opportunity to meet old friends, make new ones, and talk about latest happenings back home! (You can take a Singaporean out of Singapore, but you can’t take the Singapore spirit out of the Singaporean. :) )

Australia is a particularly warm place to do this, as lots of Singaporeans are here, whether for work or studies.
