I’m riding a high that I can’t really explain. Just super happy and I’m trying my absolute best to enjoy it as opposed to meticulously dissecting it. I have a huge tendency to overanalyze my feelings, which tends to bring about judgement, which then catalyzes anxiety??‍♀️

Being “happy” becomes so complex that the experience is hindered and partial. This was of course NEVER something we deal with as kids, so why is it such an overbearing thing to deal with? Why can’t happiness just be that??

A great part of my self-love journey is to recognize myself through my childhood. There is much wisdom in our younger years, and knowing that joy was felt without unease at one point in my life is something worth re-cultivating?

So these past few days I’ve been really happy. No justification or dissection needed. No validation or reasoning required. Just happy?
