a few extra moments stollen early this morning with a pot of tea and a good book. I've been working my way through sally manns memoir - it's a deeply rich beautiful story of life and place. Reading is something I love and has always been a great source of inspiration though I find it hard to carve time for it - it feels like an indulgence to tuck away and sink into the pages. But this morning while the house was sleeping I folded back into bed with her words and let myself get lost in them just for an hour until the rain clears - then it's out to the garden and back to the Saturday to-do list
But im grateful for the quite of the morning
