an amazingly sunny irish evening in the gardens of dunbrody house - the house and gardens and woods are all intertwined seamlessly leading from one to the next & the evenings bleed into the night with daylight skies long past ten pm.
it was the perfect excuse to get dressed up, thought I'm equally happy and comfortable in my normal daily uniform of jeans and white button downs, I do love any excuse for things a bit more elegant. This easy going @kamperett dress is my kind of dressing up - simple chic and delightfully comfortable - it needs little adornment and packs like a champ. I'm smitten with the long sleeves and box pleats - modern and romantic. i love their designs and even more their idea of creating small runs of locally made clothes. The simplicity of form (only single gold buttons at the cuffs and one at the back of the neck on this dress) and quality of creation is what I gravitate to.
I felt quite at home here in the irish country side as we aimlessly strolled the gravel paths the low sun warm on our necks watching robins light from low branches to the stones in front of us - Something like a dream - I've been savoring it all packing it away in my memory
