I believe truth ultimately wins out in the end, that no matter how long it takes whatever is hidden in darkness will be brought out to the light. It may be naive but I like to see the goodness in everyone and in every situation. I find that if I speak to the greatness that I see in someone that person will often rise up to fulfill my image of them. But if I think of them as a disaster well then, they often also meet my expectations. Sometimes it burns me because I want so badly for everyone and everything to be bright and shiny that sometimes I don't see obvious flaws. And sometimes I take chances on people I shouldn't and I get taken advantage of. But I'm not going to close my heart down or guard against the worst in people. I am going to continue shining brightly and seeing the world as a peaceful place filled with beautiful people. And I might be creating my own reality, but I'd be doing it consciously, with the power of intention and purpose. Two people can walk through the exact same track of life and have radically different experiences. One person who sees the worst runs an obstacle course banging up against one difficult situation after another. Another with a sunny disposition spreads just enough light to float through life on what seems like a cloud. Maybe luck is more about getting yourself attuned to the vibration of your future and less about random happenstance. You never know how you might effect others. Just by being yourself and showing up in the world how your pure presence may just leave a life changing impression behind on someone else. Every interaction matters. Every moment in your life deserves your full attention. How you do one thing is how you do everything. Yoga teaches you how to be mindful and then that mindfulness changes everything. ?
