The last day of this takeover takes me to Mistura 2016. This is surely the biggest food festival in South America if not the world. 9 days in total, this event has a lot to offer from all the the various styles of traditional Peruvian cuisine. My first stop was one of Lima's most famous. Grimanesa Vargas has been selling her grilled beef heart anticuchos for more than 40 years. She did not disappoint and was quite charming as well. She serves the hearts marinated and glazed almost like Japanese grilled meats. Perfect first stop. — Rob Newton @robdnewton #FRTakeover
