I'm working on a series of blogs and posts on the topic of DETOX but I just felt that this one needed to be shared sooner rather than later.? Your body emits and absorbs toxins through your skin all day long. After all, it IS the largest organ in your body! It's why staying properly hydrated and then sweating on a regular basis is such a detoxifying process. Our bodies have built in detox mechanisms that allow them to rid our bodies of all the pollutants and toxins that we come into contact with everyday. BUT! There are things we can do on a monthly, weekly and even daily basis to keep those mechanisms running properly. Weekly detox baths are one of those ways.?? There are tons of different ingredient combos you can put together that treat and cater to different needs and ailments, but this combo is an awesome detox recipe that relieves body aches, muscle soreness, and reduces inflammation throughout the body. • Draw a hot bath ? and mix in: - 2/3 cup of ACV (you'll want to get the unpasteurized one with the mother!) - 1 cup Epsom Salt (this brand has Eucalyptus oil mixed in but you can use plain Epsom Salt and add the essential oil separately!) - 5-10 drops of Peppermint oil - 5-10 drops of Lavender oil Grab a good book because you'll need to sit in the bath for 30-60 minutes to get the full benefits! Bring a glass of cold water as well. That Apple cider vinegar makes you sweat something serious!!!? Have you ever tried a detox bath? What are your favorite recipes???
