I’ve been leading workouts for 10 years now.

10 whole years that I’ve been looking at women looking back at me in a supportive and encouraging environment.
10 years of motivating women as they’ve pushed themselves mentally and physically.
10 years of sweat, laughs, and a shit load of lunges. (If you know you know)
10 years of iterating many times yet staying grounded in daily workouts.

And on July 1st, I led my very last group workout.

I’m eager to be racking my dumbbells for a new path but it’s impossible not to feel bittersweet.

Today, I’m looking back with fondness and gratitude for the road I’ve been on for the last decade and every woman I’ve walked with in that time.

Fitness and this platform blew my world wide open.
I got to travel around the country on 4 nationwide tours where I had the privilege of meeting and training with thousands of women. I taught classes at numerous locations and events, developed two apps for two different brands, and grew immensely as a human.

Teaching taught me how to show up. It helped me grow up.
There were days during the pandemic and during my dad’s battle with cancer last year that I didn’t know how I was going to get myself together enough to lead. But then I would see the faces of the women who were probably going through their own battles and life drama and I realized: this space is a safe haven from all of that. This is where we get to come together and take care of our bodies and minds in community. It’s a place where we get to put down all of the shit and move. It’s a place where we remind ourselves and one another that we’re strong and we can do hard things.
To say that I knew that—that I was able to hold that space and provide good energy for women—is something I will always hold as a cherished part of my life journey.

Seeing women grow in strength and confidence is a gift.

To every woman who has ever attended a class, subscribed to an app, came out to a tour stop, purchased merch of any kind, or dropped in for our digital workouts, THANK YOU.

And to all the men who shared my page and programs with the women in their lives THANK YOU.

What an era.
You guys changed my life forever.
