Went on a walk in the Chinatown area on Saturday evening. Came across this lion guarding 仙祖宫 (Siang Cho Keong Temple), a Tua Pek Kong temple on Amoy Street. It was built here in 1868 because of good fengshui – with Ann Siang Hill behind it, and facing the sea. The hill is still here, but the sea has moved away with reclamation! :) - LHL
