50 years ago, the Marina Bay area was just water. There was no Marina Bay Sands, no Barrage, not even the Merlion! Nobody could have imagined today’s beautiful skyline in 1965.
This morning 5,000 of us went for a walk at Marina Bay. It was organised by the 5 Community Development Councils (CDCs) to mark #SG50. We were reminded of the Singapore spirit that brought us here.
