We have etiquette and standards when dealing with other people: we hold the door, say excuse me, always ask "how are you?"... But when it comes to ourselves all of that flies out of the window. Each of us is our own worst critic. We doubt ourselves, nitpick our every flaw, and in doing so, we often end up doing more damage to ourselves than others could ever be capable of doing.
We all have flaws, don't overthink them. Acknowledge their presence but don't let them define you. Work hard at improving them, but don't let them inhibit you from feeling good about yourself. ❤️
