Teck Ghee was abuzz this morning, with Chinese New Year round the corner. Was there to spread some festive cheer, distributing hongbao and goodies to 400 elderly residents. Each received $150 in cash, $50 supermarket vouchers, four bottles of chicken essence and two mandarin oranges, courtesy of our generous sponsors.
I also visited my two markets to catch up with the residents, stall owners and shopkeepers. Glad to see them in high spirits, getting ready for the New Year. Wishing all Teck Ghee residents a happy and prosperous Year of the Goat! – LHL (MCI Photo by Terence Tan)
