Many of us are busy preparing for CNY – buying food, clothes and decorations to celebrate. I am glad that two students interning at THK EIPIC are doing something to help needy families celebrate the new year too.
The EIPIC centres offer early intervention programmes for children with special needs. One opened at Ang Mo Kio last year.
The two interns are raising money for food hampers for needy families in THK EIPIC Centres, by selling second-hand items donated by staff and families of the centres at flea markets.
They will be at the void deck of Blk 475, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 today. Do visit their booth if you are in the area, or would like to support a good cause. :) For more information, check out @theeipicmovement. - LHL
