Had lunch in an EFW (Elbe Flugzeugwerke – Elbe aircraft factory) hangar where passenger planes are converted to freighter aircraft. This is a joint venture between Airbus and ST Aerospace. An unusual lunch venue.
I visited this and the Gustav Anton Zeuner vocational school centre for technology (Berufliches Schulzentrum für Technik "Gustav Anton Zeuner") yesterday. #Germany has a strong system of apprenticeships. Vocational schools work closely with companies and industry partners to train students with relevant skills.
