Maam is one of twelve participants in Through Positive Eyes-Bangkok. She lives with her HIV-positive husband, her father-in-law, three daughters, and one stepdaughter. She is the primary caretaker of the family, and much of her time is spent worrying over the family’s affairs. She took this photo in her home using a tripod and self-timer. “In my house we call this ‘Ladies Corner.’ Every day I come home exhausted from taking care of people. But once I see the mirror it reminds me that I have to take care of myself too.” This is part of the daily feed from the project curated by @gideonmendel.
