This is another of Jo’s images made for Through Positive Eyes-Bangkok using a tripod and self-timer. As a former drug addict, Jo is extremely aware of his tendency toward an array of addictions: “I would never tell people to smoke because once you get addicted it is very difficult to quit. Burning the cigarette is like burning yourself as well. I don’t know what my lungs look like right now. If I didn’t smoke, I might have better health and be stronger. I have smoked for 35 years and, at this point, I don’t think I can quit.” This is part of the daily feed from the project curated by @gideonmendel.
