Wat is one of the twelve HIV-positive participants in Through Positive Eyes-Bangkok. He has been living with HIV for twenty years. This photo shows him at work helping to provide HIV medication. “I invented a medicine bank to collect medication from the hospital and help distribute it to people who live too far away, or can’t afford a doctor’s appointment. When people are short on medication, they can call me and I help them. I encourage them to take their medications properly, and to disclose their HIV status to their loved ones. It’s better that way. This patient was sick for 16 years, but he only just got on medication three months ago because he didn’t know about his right to get free medication.” This is part of the daily feed from the project curated by @gideonmendel.
