I’ve really focused on layering because for me the random hormonal sweats and going from the cold outdoors to the heated indoors is a lot !🥵🥶 I swear every time the seasons change I’m left staring at clothes that no longer fit me - last winter I was pregnant, the winter before that I wasn’t, the one before that I was pregnant - now I’m 8 months postpartum! It’s fair to say my body has changed significantly, and whilst I’m comfortable with embracing the changes - it makes dressing a minefield. I’ve also found my style has really changed since becoming a mum. Not just because I have to dress for Breastfeeding and running after my tiny terror - but I don’t know. Psychologically the way I dress is just different - maybe its age, maybe it was lockdown, maybe it’s motherhood 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s why I wanted to create these outfit series, because I find when I have some nice clothes to wear it helps me feel like ‘me’. It helps me feel confident in my postpartum body! I enlist the help of @tatiana_londonshopper - and so I thought I’d share the love. The idea isn’t to make you buy a whole new wardrobe, but just to give you some inspiration to help elevate your style and help you find your identity. But also, a reminder not to cling onto clothes that don’t fit right now. I’m 8 months PP and my clothes still don’t fit - it took about a year last time for my bones to move back.
