Many people just do day boat trips from Sorrentino, Alalfi, Positano, even Napoli, but those are often packed with people and only recommendable if you’re on an extreme time and money limit. Instead I’d suggest taking the ferry over to Capri and staying there for a few days, and making one of the days your boat day! I’d also highly recommend doing a private tour on a nicer boat like the company @mr.costanzo (or is it a friend? No one will ever know! 😜) who truly cares about giving you the Dolce Vita experience in Capri!
