Fight Club [8B+] ⚔️💎 Absolutely amazing addition from last winter by the young legend @shawnraboutou 🔥 This is def one of my favorite climbs in all of Val Bavona, and was on the top of my list for this season 🙌🏻 I was lucky to make a rather fast ascent, about three days of effort, and was super surprised to stand on top of this mega after a random burn where somehow everything just clicked together. Super technical resistance climbing which breaks down nicely into three obvious sections: a tricky intro with a tense toe hook which is hard to execute without loosing too much energy, followed by a very complex roof encounter with a bizzare kneescum and a series of powerul positions on amazing pocket like grips, then a pumpy enduro outro which gets more committing the higher you climb 😍 Thanks to all the homies bringing the good vibes that day, I don’t think I would have summited without all the encouragement and talented spotters 😅😂 Looking forward to sharing more of my ascents from the last couple months in the next few weeks, and continuing to press onward with the plethora of projects I’ve amassed from last year, and all the brilliant new ones we have discovered and cleaned recently 🥳 I am a bit speechless about how AWESOME it is here in Switzerland, and how many incredible futuristic lines that continue to surface…my mind is officially blown 🤯🤣 Thanks @kimmarschner for filming this one, the ascent was super unexpected, so it’s great to have this little souvenir 🫶🏻 @adidasterrex @fiveten_official @petzl_official @frictionlabs @sendclimbing @tensionclimbing
