As my main projects were pretty haggered after the big snowstorm last month, I had to pick some other routes to try that were dry, so I decided why not try another epic long route in El Pati 🤪 It had been a while since I climbed in the sector and wow, it brought back some memories 😅 The crimpy, resistant, and technical style of these routes is quite unique, and I really enjoyed feeling the exposure and being farther than 15 meters off the ground after a few months of sticking to shorter rigs 🤣 After around five goes I found myself clipping the chain, but each go was so intense it felt rather epic 🙈 The wall is particularly intimidating; the bolts are far apart, the moves are easy to mess up, and feeling relaxed doesn’t come naturally. After punting off the bottom a few times I managed to weave my way up this nearly perfect climb (theres some very very “damp” sections of rock which is where it gets its name) and wow its a fun one! It felt so good climb longer than a minute and test my endurance again, which thankfully, has not disappeared, and seemingly improved 😆 Super syked to keep trying some routes in this style, Reina Mora is calling my name, even if its rather daunting (That crack tho 😳) Can’t wait for the next weeks of what seems to look like amazing conditions finally, and return more to Capella, First Ley, and inevitably First Round First Minute 🔥 I’ve been making some really solid progress in all three rigs, and got my beta sorted out for the last section of FR, which gets me fucking syked, and yes, I skip the mono and use a lot of kneebars (and no its not easier 😂) Fingers crossed for some succes this season, just gotta stay patient, and turn up that try hard 🙇🏻‍♂️🤞🏻Sick drone footy from my homie @esteban.ele.eme 🙌🏻 @adidasterrex @fiveten_official @petzl_official @climb_up_officiel @frictionlabs @sendclimbing @tensionclimbing @climbskinspain
