The first couple weeks here in Rodellar have been awesome 🏖 !! It’s a pleasure to be back in this paradise with a super fanatico equipo, and enjoying the long exhausting days out at the Boveda’s 🤪 Adjusting to the steep and powerful style of climbing was quite a shock at first 😵🥵 Coming from the techy-crimpy walls of Siurana, the super physical nature of the style of climbing here is exhausting at the start 😩The harder routes mostly wander out these giant roofs through an ocean of seemingly massive grips, never-ending kneebars, and crazy complex sequences which take a lot of time to work out. I managed to ascend an amazing @dani_andrada_climb rig called Autoengaño [9A] in the Ventanas which really epitomizes the style of climbing you can find here 🤓 Amazing sculpted white grips, crazy 3D features, downward climbing, spinning, toe-hooking, and techy kneebarring; this climb is one of my new all-time favorites for the grade 🥳 In this video you can see most of the climb, except the last 6 meters of funky roof-climbing resistance 😅 @alizee_dufraisse is climbing really well in the route as well, with completely different beta 🤯She will surely take it down soon 😍!! Looking forward to visiting the massive caves now in the colder Barranco with the Piscinetta and Museo to check out some of the newer and more spectacular editions from @dani_andrada_climb @jlpalao and @jonatan_flor from the past couple seasons😎🙌🏻!!! Apparently everything is 60 meters long 😬 LEZZZ GOOOOO !!!
