Travel Update 🌎: I never thought we would spend nearly 6 months of 2020 in Siurana, but we did 🤣 When the quarantine was lifted we began the process of doing our residency Visa here Spain, but due to appointments with immigration lawyers we had to stay in the region much longer then we planned to. It was a rather daunting process at the start, but after lots of paperwork, uncertainty, and patience, we finished our last crucial appointment and earned the right to move onward 💫 It was a crazy experience adapting to Siurana during the Summer season 🥵🙈 but with some strategy it was surprisingly successful !! I was able to make my highpoint in La Capella 9B mid-June 🤯 and climbed a bunch of classic’s I never got the chance to do in the past. In the last month I managed to 🔴🔝: Estado Critico 9A, Set de Paput 8C, Directa Jabali 8C, Aitzol 8C, and Chronica Profunda 8B+ 🥳 I am not exactly used to climbing or even existing in the heat; the last ten years I have traveled to South Africa to chase winter and climb on the majestic adherent sandstone, but I feel it has really improved my climbing and fitness to stay at it here on the ropes and push myself on a rope again on the slick limestone 😅 We are now in Rodellar adapting to the giant 50m roofs, and even more extreme heat.
