Mouflon are a small species of sheep found on the islands of Corsica, Sardinia, and Cyprus. Now considered a wild species, it is believed that European mouflon came from a species of domestic sheep from Asia Minor that were introduced to the Mediterranean islands thousands of years ago. A sign of their domestic lineage is a lack of horns, seen most often in females like this one @parconaturaviva.
