Deep in the tropical forests of Central and South America is where you’ll find the home of the kinkajou. While this darling critter may look like a primate with its long tail and big eyes, it is actually related to the raccoon. Spending most of their time in the trees, this species is capable of turning their feet backwards, making it easy to run along branches or up and down tree trunks. While they regularly consume fruit and small mammals, one of their favorite treats is honey, which they obtain by raiding beehives - a habit that has led some to call them honey bears.
