デヴィッド・ボウイさんのインスタグラム写真 - (デヴィッド・ボウイInstagram)「DAILY BOWIE THING – Day 80 “Wear your bolt with honour, make someone proud…” * Back in the summer of 1974, an American music magazine published the full-page advert seen here, advertising that month’s big bargain: DAVID BOWIE’S “LIGHTENING BOLT” PENDANT-NECKLACE. We’re presuming they meant “LIGHTNING BOLT”, but either way, the free offer also included a 10x8 glossy photo. The promotion was courtesy of MAINMAN and there were 500 of the BIJOUX lightning bolt pendant necklaces up for grabs. We’re not sure what the glossy photo was, but we do know the necklaces were sent out in little boxes with MAINMAN stamped on them. Very hard to find now, the original BIJOUX necklace does command a pretty penny when it does turn up. Were you one of the lucky recipients? Do you remember what the picture was?
