Though often associated with EMI’s 1983 album, Let’s Dance, promotional photographs featuring these @greggormanphoto images were circulated by both RCA and EMI at the time, but these are five of the scarcer RCA ones. Often reported as having been taken in 1983, a colour picture from this session was used for the sleeve of the 1982 RCA compilation, Bowie Rare. EMI’s promos from this session were circulated globally in 1983 with the Let’s Dance press kit for the massive campaign that accompanied that release.
