“Telling you loud but selling it small...”

Today’s #DailyBowieThing is essentially about a Bowie autograph, but first a bit of background.

Back on the afternoon of Wednesday 18th September 2002, David Bowie played an exclusive set to an intimate audience of BowieNet and BBC Radio 2 contest winners at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios in London.

Introduced by Jonathan Ross, the ten-song, hour-long set was broadcast on Radio 2 on Saturday 5th October. Bowie was in a playful mood and showcased songs from his most recent album, Heathen, including the new single Everyone Says 'Hi', not to mention the live debut of The Bewlay Brothers.
