As a professional traveler for almost 40 years, the idea of a year without hopping on a plane to somewhere would have seemed preposterous to me. Yet, one of the silver linings to the pandemic for me has been the gift of time to travel through my photo archive. Much of my Instagram content for the past year has been “new” old material from past shoots that I had not revisited in as many as 20 or more years. Thank you everyone for your follows, your likes and most of all - for your comments! The most gratifying aspect of having an Instagram page is the ability to get instant feedback, both good and bad on each photograph. Back in the days of print where it all started not that long ago, it would take months from shooting the photograph on film to seeing it in a magazine, and a month or more after to hear a few reactions from the readers.
