While the move did reunite me with my family, it also came with a sacrifice. In India, I taught more than 2,000 students, led more than 100 workshops, and took dozens of photography tours across the country. I left my business to carry forward, and now provide input and teach my associates remotely. This separation from my life in India devoted caused me to go through a depression that I tried to fight, but it was difficult. There were two thoughts that helped me: my immense love of nature and passion for exploring and photography; and faith that I could find my way out of the situation.
