TIP: I often get a lot of questions about casting (choosing) models for shoots when starting to build a portfolio. The best advice I can give comes from my own experience - folio build with subjects who have confidence in front of the lens! When I started out I worked with confident friends, dancers, actors, musicians and once even a fire dancer! A strong portfolio with confident subjects can catch the attention of more experienced models and then later help you when considering to work with model agencies.
