AD: Ticking the box for winter warmers... Introducing my @quakeroatsuk ginger oatmeal flap. I might actually have to pack these into the hospital bag for snacks! 👩🏼‍🍳💗

One of the things Tommy complimented me on when we moved in together was my ability to create amazing tasting porridge dishes (true story), so I'm beyond excited to be working with @quakeroatsuk to share some of my favourite recipes. These ginger oatmeal flaps are so quick and easy to make, taste amazing, and can store in the fridge for a few days making them the perfect snack ... They're especially good for late night cravings. 🤰🏼.

This recipe can be found on page 203 of @QuakerOatsUK digital recipe book*. There's over 200 different recipes for all seasons from lots of different people (I have another 3 in there). I'll show the process on stories too.

Serves 8

Ingredients
200g Quaker Rolled Oats
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
15g walnuts
1 tsp baking powder
450ml milk (almond is best, but oat or dairy is also fine)
2 ripe bananas
4 dates
2 tbsp maple syrup
Drizzle of coconut oil

METHOD 👩🏼‍🍳

1. Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl together and stir well
2. Blend all the wet ingredients together in a food processor / blender, then add to the dry mix. Stir well.
3. Rub coconut oil over a baking tray before adding your mixture.
4. Cook in an oven at 170°C for 35 mins, until it looks golden brown and is set in the middle.
