There is no magic trick to flexibility. It takes patience and practice. Use these steps over many years to work on your splits.

1. Crescent lunge to combine spinal and hip extension
2. Half split to improve hamstrings and forward bends
3. Split and twist to ground the hips.
4. Repeat 10,000 times over 20 years.
