It’s the slowest form of walking, no goal or outcome in mind and the path my feet find on their own is usually full of surprises. I always seem to see what I’ve seen before in new ways, discover hidden details and happily have an epiphany or two. It’s not just my feet that can wonder, it’s my mind too and when it comes back it’s often with a creative solution or a new idea. Soon my wandering will begin in a new place and I feel excited for all the new sparks that will fly but sad to leave my beautiful city. But I won’t be so far away so those streets I’ve yet to wander will be there when I need to find them. Change always brings mixed emotions but I’m grateful for the capacity to feel them.
