I loved my pink vest “strong is the new sexy” had just qualified as a personal trainer and was prepping for my first bodybuilding contest (where I placed 2nd and got my pro card). Back then it was almost a taboo for women to have muscles, be strong or challenge men in fitness, despite female sports/fitness having being established many years ago! Nowadays more women are proud to show their muscles on social media without fear of being called ugly or manly - why should being strong in life ever be a negative? In 2016 I’d built the foundation of my body but my mind was yet to reach the same level of strength. I followed my PT qualifications with two further nutrition courses, mindfulness and heaps of spirituality and meditation and am now almost half way through my yoga instructing qualifications. I’ve also got 4 websites, train for 2hrs daily at the gym, work full time, study and raise my two children alone whilst I’ve built a network of 4million social media followers from across the world on Facebook, twitter and Instagram. I never compare myself to others, I just raise my own bar at my own pace one step at a time and never stop growing. The more that you do and the more you push your limits the more capable you will become at anything in life, like training a muscle, dedication and consistency is key. The same goes for reputation; be a good person, be kind to others and only put good karma into the world - the results will ALWAYS speak for themselves.
