The first time I tried this pose my teacher had to work so hard to keep me from tumbling over. For me, it was pure magic to have the feeling of being upside down. Now, more than twenty years later, here I am, balancing on my hands upside down all on my own.

One thing many yogis have been missing is the magic of hands-on assists. Teaching online is awesome and can help so many people practice. But, in-person, with adjustments is something else. In fact, the more work you put in online, by yourself, when no one is watching prepares you to receive that magical moment with your teacher when you meet in person again.

Most of my yoga journey has been spent at home, alone, with yearly visits to India and sporadic visits to class. So I know what it means to get the energy and motivation to keep practicing on your own. My experience as a home practitioner is one of the founding reasons that I started @omstarsofficial And now to see so many people practicing with the help of the amazing tools that our platform provides is a dream come true. So, let me just thank you, all the students, for showing up and putting in the work. I love you.
