If you are trying to put on mass in the off season, I cannot express the importance of knowing how much food you need to eat. ⁣⁣

My off season diet typically consists high protein, high carbs, moderate fats, and just a large volume of food in total. Protein helps to repair damaged muscle tissue, carbs spike insulin levels, which can help shuttle more nutrients into the muscles, and can ultimately help them recover faster after an intense workout, and fats help assist with hormone regulation which can play a critical role in recovery. ⁣⁣

Here’s what my off season diet breakfast looks like: ⁣⁣
- 4 eggs + 2 egg whites (38g protein, 22g fat)⁣⁣
- 4 packets grits (88g carbs)⁣⁣
