SKIPPING WARM-UP⁣⁣
How do you warm-up?! My go-to warm-up is 3-4 minutes of skipping, followed by dynamic stretching. If you don’t have a timer, you can do what I do and just put on a song and skip until the song has finished (songs are usually around 3 minutes each). I know skipping can seem difficult if you haven’t done it before, but the trick is to control the rope and not let it control you! You should know when the rope is near your feet because you have complete control (using your wrists to turn the rope). Also, do not use your WHOLE ARM to spin the rope around. Work your speed up slowly!! It doesn’t take long to pick up, I promise. ♥️⁣⁣

If you’re new to skipping, you’re not going to be able to skip like this on your first go and that’s normal!! It took me a while to build up to be able to skip this way. For the ladies who don’t have a skipping rope, you can substitute skipping for high knees or marching on the spot.⁣⁣
