スカイラー・カーギルさんのインスタグラム写真 - (スカイラー・カーギルInstagram)「second family vacation has commenced! we landed in Basel, Switzerland yesterday morning and wandered around Basel before hopping on the Amastella @amawaterways ! around 830pm we set sail to Germany on the Rhine River. woke up early this morning to go for a hike in the Black Forest (where the Grimm Brothers were inspired to write their fairy tales.) the hike was awesome, Germany is beautiful, and i’m blessed to get to experience this all with my mum, brother and his girlfriend. . . never been on a river cruise before but it’s really good for my mum as we only had to unpack once hehe. oh and also, the boat goes through these things called locks which basically we sit in this chamber and they raise and lower the water. check the last picture for when the gate was lifting back up after we dropped 100 feet! i don’t know why but i loved witnessing it!! i just really love water of all types hehe. . . i’ll update more soon. hope y’all are doing well! any holiday plans coming up? this is how my family celebrates holidays (except thanksgiving which we are doing again at my brothers house yay!) second year of that tradition 😍 . .
