スカイラー・カーギルさんのインスタグラム写真 - (スカイラー・カーギルInstagram)「shouts to my best friend. to the human who always communicates with me, who goes out of his way to make me feel better when i am sick, who holds me accountable with my goals and who checks me when i’m zooming too fast or not moving at all. i couldn’t imagine a friendship like this - one where we can sit in silence for hours and still know what the other wants, one where we can make playlists for one another and enjoy them on long drives or our commutes to work, one whom i can count on to always be honest with me, one whom i know isn’t judging me when i confess my downfalls and simply encourages me in the right direction. . . i hate sharing my bed because i love my bed and because i’m a terrible sleeper, but he gave up his room to our two beautiful guests and after one night on our crappy futon, i knew i should let him in. i’ve actually slept better beside him - when he wriggles out at 630am, i know i can then starfish my bed (meaning i take up the whole thing because yaaaas) and it also has helped me to get to work early this week so bless! now.. reed, wake up!!! i want to hang with you and you’re napping with all the fluffy cats upstairs so can’t wait for you to see this ;) . . remember, my friends. love comes in so many forms. i love reed so much that CNN thought we were actually husbands and was going to publish that in their article he was interviewed for 😂 i spend holidays with reed’s family since my family doesn’t really follow traditional paths and i’ve slept in his childhood room, at his other best friend’s house, in tents, in cars, in california, in my dad’s motel. we’ve always been able to get by together and i truly am thankful for a friendship like his. i’ve never had a home but with my friends, i am home. living in this apartment is the longest i’ve ever lived anywhere and i wouldn’t trade it for the world. thank you, reed, for having our evening all planned out when i get out of working from 9am-9pm and can’t even form a thought. you always know what i need and i hope i am the same for you. i love you so, so much. . .
