I don’t know how it happened, but there was something so anxiety provoking about wearing shorts to the gym. TMI so I apologies but I would bathe in my own sweat and have my perspiration baste me like a tofurkey instead of showing off my legs. LOL ew that was gross to write😛 But it’s true and I’m proud to say I am in the process of tackling my irrational fear. NO MORE BASTING FOR ME🍗🥵

On a serious note, I have scars on my legs. I’m a little insecure about them because they’re self-inflicted, and it’s tough looking at them when I’m trying to stay confident on the gym platform. Conquering this minor inconvenience in my life is going to take me far in life, and although it may seem minor to many, it’s a huge step for me💜

fightforgrowth @shehluh They tell quite the story, you’re right! embracing them has been tough, but I feel they’re kinda like those realistic road maps with bumps and crevices to portray real life terrain. it just adds more realism to our journey 💜💪🏼

laurenmarieolson I have self harm scars on my legs too which makes me self conscious at times but I’m so so proud of you and you and I both, and anyone else that has scars, shouldn’t be ashamed of them seeing the light of day ✨
