Meet the Saffron Toucanet (Pteroglossus bailloni)! It’s native to parts of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, where it inhabits lush tropical forests. Though vibrantly colored, the bird is elusive and often remains hidden in the tree canopy. Similar to other toucans, it enjoys munching on fruits and might even snack on bird eggs or small mammals from time to time.
