What’s that critter? It’s the Vietnamese mossy frog (Theloderma corticale)! Its bumpy body and mottled green skin makes it hard to spot against mossy rocks in the rainforests of Vietnam. Its calls can travel as much as 13 feet (4 meters) into the distance, making it even harder to pinpoint its exact location. If a predator happens to find the frog, this amphibian might roll up into a ball and play dead in hopes of seeming like a less tantalizing treat.
